Our Story

The Cure for
the Common

C4 Deli began as a Downtown Santa Ana deli built around house-cured meats, house-made pickles, memorable sandwiches and a simple idea: common food should never have to feel ordinary.

Where It Started

Born on Broadway in Downtown Santa Ana.

C4 Deli — the Cure for the Common — held its original grand opening on September 7, 2013, at 200 N Broadway in Downtown Santa Ana.

The idea was straightforward: build a deli with its own point of view. Cure the meats. Make the pickles. Build sandwiches people remember. Put good beer and wine within reach. Serve it all in a place that belongs to the neighborhood.

The result was a Santa Ana deli centered on house-cured pastrami and corned beef, the Reuben, house-made pickles, deli sides, beer and wine. C4 Deli became part of the rhythm of Downtown Santa Ana.

“The Cure for the Common” was not just a tagline. It was the point.
